Windsurfing

The Kent coast offers some of the best windsurfing and the Varne Water Sports & Supporters Club offers a great location to get to grips with windsurfing on the sea. The gently shelving beach is excellent for learning to beachstart and waterstart with plenty of room and no underwater obstructions to worry about.

The progression from lake to sea can be daunting, having just the right location is paramount to success. Obviously any coastal location can have times where conditions are just too much but our Club offers a protected bay giving everyone from beginner to intermediate through to expert windsurfer the best chance to improve.

The Club has a range of windsurf boards and small sails for club beginners to use.
